Monday, August 26, 2024Delta Air Lines has announced the addition of flights from Chattanooga, enhancing connectivity to both Atlanta and Detroit. Currently, Delta operates 46 weekly departures to Atlanta. With the addition of new flights, this number will increase to 59 weekly departures. In addition, Delta will be adding another flight to Detroit, increasing service from six to 13 departures each week. Monday, May 29, 2023Blood Assurance and the Chattanooga Lookouts are partnering again this year for a competition against MEDIC Regional Blood Center (Knoxville) and the Tennessee Smokies. The competition runs May 29-June 4. Blood Assurance or MEDIC will win a trophy and bragging rights depending on which blood center collects the most units during those seven days. Thursday, January 11, 2018Officials at Erlanger East Hospital announce the addition of a Children’s Specialty Clinic to the East Brainerd facility. The clinic offers multiple pediatric specialties including gastroenterology, cardiology and endocrinology. Erlanger’s Childhood Cancer Survivorship program, as well as pediatric Neurology and Pulmonology, will also join the clinic in the next few months. The Children’s Specialty Clinic provides the same level of care a child would receive at the region’s only children’s hospital in downtown Chattanooga.
